No, but occasionally a pet will require a mild sedative that can be prescribed by a veterinarian and given to your pet prior to their grooming appointment.  Please discuss any form of pet medications with us prior to your pets’ appointment.

The majority of dogs and cats that come for grooming do not need any muzzling.  Sometimes an animal will not like one aspect of the grooming (nails, ears etc.) so we will use a soft nylon muzzle with a fleece nose band for that particular portion of the grooming.  A mere 1% requires a muzzle throughout.  Some pets that are extremely frightened actually feel more comfortable with a muzzle on.

Yes, if the dog is groomed on a regular basis and is cooperative.

No.  We recommend that before you make an appointment to stop by the grooming salon for us to assess and ensure that grooming is a possibility.

Yes.  All dogs that are here for more than a few hours get out to relieve themselves and are offered a drink of water.  Water is not kept in cages at all times.

Drop off is scheduled between 8:30 am – 10:00 am.

Pick up is scheduled between 1:00 pm – 5: 00 pm (depending on your and our schedule)

Yes we will groom a pregnant dog.

It would be preferable if your female is not “in season”.
