Regular grooming accomplishes much more than making your pet's coat look nice & shiny. Combing and brushing allows your pet's coat to remain healthy by keeping the skin stimulated and allowing its natural oils to circulate to the coat.

Your pet will receive with every salon visit in our air conditioned/heated work space:

- shampoo
- grooming
- hand dry (see clause on drying below)

- brush out coat
- pads cleaned
- pedicure

- sanitary clip around private area
- eye area cleaned

- ears cleaned

- express anal glands as needed or requested

- kennel drying (see clause on drying below)
- cologne, ribbons & bandanas available upon  request

Plucking ears:  Ears will be plucked if necessary (not all dogs need their ears plucked). If a dog has ears that are difficult to pluck, whether the dog is uncomfortable or the hair is difficult, we will do our best to accommodate within reasonable measures.  In some cases plucking the hair can aggravate the ears and can actually cause problems.  In those cases we will use scissors and clippers to clean the outer ear as best as possible to maintain airflow.

Drying:  Hand drying, hanging cage dryers and fans are used.  Air temperature and well-being of your pet is closely monitored.

Flea and Tick Issues

We use all natural flea and tick shampoo and dip.  It is a great alternative to insecticides.  Our treatments can be safely used alongside any topical flea and tick treatment that may contain insecticides.

Our groomers check your pet for specific problems while grooming. Moving hair aside and closely examining the skin allows us to uncover signs of fleas, ticks or skin irritations, mats, tangles, dandruff, etc. We will alert you if we see any signs of concern.
